The owners, Janet & Steve Brunson met at Gadsden High School in 1971 and dated 4 1/2 years before they married in 1975! During their early years together, Steve graduated from Auburn and went on to attend Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, AL. After graduation, they moved back to Gadsden, AL where Steve practices law. Fast forward 50 years ~ they have 3 married children ~ one son, Andy (Melissa), and two daughters, Stefanie (Jim) & Katie (Blake) ~ and 11 grandchildren to complete their very blessed family!!
They purchased the 137 acre farm in Rainbow City, Alabama around 1999! They built and moved into their new home in 2006; After living there a year, Stefanie & Jim married on the property and Janet & Steve started thinking about possibly one day having a wedding and event venue on their beautiful property but it got put off for years!! Finally, after much prayer and planning, building began in 2018 and Brunson Farms opened up June 14, 2020 with their first wedding! Everything turned out beautifully and went off without any problems! So far, all events have been a wonderful experience and they love working with all the different families and individuals to make their events a success!
